This book gripped me from the blurb to the very end of the story. I was completely in captured by Theodore and Eden relationship from their very meeting to when Theodore goes to battle to keep his family, which he has now found in Eden.
I like the fact that Eden is portrayed as a courageous, strong yet fragile and accepting. It was refreshing to have Black woman lead for this kind of trope; representation matters and it’s evident by how successful this book is.
I would definitely read again and have and currently reading books by this author.
